Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple in the city of Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a mainly due to the temple.

Day 1 Arrive in Katunayeka International Airport-Habarana

We’ll meet at Bandaranaike International Airport. Then we’ll start going to Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. After the main tour, rest hours you can plan to visit other places. I‘ll explain about all the things you should know from my travel experiences.
